Etikk

Etikk, or “ethics” in English, refers to the branch of philosophy that involves the systematic study of what is right and wrong, good and bad, moral and immoral. It explores the principles and values that guide human behavior and decision-making. Ethics concerns itself with questions about how one ought to act and what constitutes a good life.

The field of ethics can be divided into several sub-disciplines, including normative ethics, which examines the standards for right behavior; applied ethics, which addresses specific moral issues in various fields such as business, medicine, and law; and meta-ethics, which investigates the nature of moral judgments and the meaning of ethical terms.
