Lovgivning

“Lovgivning” is the Danish term for “legislation” or “law-making.” It refers to the process of creating, enacting, and modifying laws by a governing body, typically a parliament or other legislative authority. This process includes the drafting of proposals, discussions, debates, and voting on new laws or amendments to existing laws. Lovgivning encompasses both statutory law, which is written and enacted by legislatures, and regulations that may be established by governmental agencies under this statutory authority. The goal of lovgivning is to establish legal frameworks that govern the behavior of individuals and organizations within a jurisdiction, thereby maintaining order, protecting rights, and facilitating societal governance. It is a fundamental aspect of democratic systems, allowing for public participation and representation in law-making.
